social health and care centers for underprivileged groups in SpainOn the occasion of the celebration of the International Flamenco Day, the Cante de las Minas Foundation and the Musicians for Health Foundation have joined forces to deliver to hospitals and health centers throughout the country, a selection of performances by the winning contestants of the Latest editions of the International Festival of Cante de las Minas, which is held every year in the mining city of La Unión, in the Region of Murcia.For this solidarity action and future collaborations, the Cante de las Minas Foundation has signed a collaboration agreement with the Musicians for Health Foundation, a philanthropic organization that, since 2015, has provided moments of respite and relief through music, to help people in person (live micro-concerts) in 116 health centers and 43 hospitals and telematically (online micro-concerts) available for 1,200 hospitals and health centers.In this first collaboration, several selections of performances by the winners of the flamenco singing, dancing, guitar and instrumentalist competitions of the Unionense festival will be broadcast through the internal television circuits of hospitals, common areas and waiting rooms to be enjoyed.
