The Autonomous Community reinforces the security of the support slopes of the regional highway that connects the towns of Portmán (La Unión) and Los Belones (Cartagena) in a section of about two kilometers.The Director General of Roads, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, today visited the work on the RM-314 regional road, which will mean an improvement in road safety for the more than 4,700 users who circulate daily on the road, consisting of the reconstruction of the slopes eroded by rainwater and the recovery of the stable support of the platform.
"In addition to the slopes, we will also rebuild the ditches that have been eroded or have disappeared, as well as we will clean the accumulated trawls in ditch safe passages, to prevent water from circulating on the road and pose a danger to road traffic", explained the director who pointed out that this action belongs to the planning of damage repairs of the dana in the regional road network and has a cost of 48,105 euros.
