| With 500 seats and respecting all safety and hygiene measures | In accordance with what has been approved this morning in the Governing Council of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia regarding the limitation to 500 people in holding outdoor cultural shows, we have requested the convening of a Plenary extraordinary for the debate on the motion presented last week on the celebration of the LXI Edition of the International Festival of Cante de las Minas, only with the singing and guitar contests.It is more than evident that the situation of the pandemic in our province does not stop improving; fact by which cultural activities are being resumed in numerous municipalities in the region, although adapted to the new reality and with the corresponding hygiene, safety and social distancing measures. After analyzing the situation in which we were, the Popular Party of La Unión has no doubt that our festival can be carried out with partial normality, and of course it should not be left behind, that is why we request the city council to carry out an open-air festival in which the only protagonists are the singing and guitar competitions, but without losing our essence, it is more, recovering that of its origins, that of 1961.
