Lozano and the Councilor for the Environment, David García, held a meeting with José Miguel Paredes from CETENMA, Amós Fuentes and José Luis Sánchez from ARBA.The meeting that has taken place in the Town Hall, has been about the reforestation project "LIFE TRINCHERA VERDE", a project that addresses as its main objective the recovery and conservation of artal and other Mediterranean thermophilic scrubs, characteristic of our coast, necessary for preserve the biodiversity of our environment as well as the prevention of erosion and desertification.To carry out this environmental recovery, it is necessary to apply new management and recovery techniques to the affected habitats, generating a public-private collaboration together with the application of the knowledge and tools necessary to carry out environmental restoration work effectively.The budget is approximately 1.4 million euros in which the General Directorate of the Natural Environment of the CARM, City Council of La Unión, City Council of Cartagena, CETENMA, Polytechnic University of Cartagena, ARBA and the AlVelAl Association will participate.
