Last Tuesday, January 28, in the plenary of the corporation we asked the mayor for explanations about 4 requirements that had been sent to him from the Ministry of Environment, prior notice from the Civil Guard, demanding that the city council make a risk assessment in certain schools of La Unión, specifically, in the Enrique Living College, for having found contaminated soils highly harmful to the health of the elderly and especially of the children who frequent them.
What is our surprise?
That the mayor has ignored those 4 requirements, claiming as the only justifications that there is no money and that he does not have to do anything because a scientist tells him.
In this way, he has not responded to the counseling, not assuming that this issue the next step is to take it to the prosecution.
We want to inform that a risk assessment of this type can cost about 12,000 euros, an insignificant amount of money for the negative impact it can cause in our town and with a city council with an annual budget of more than 10 million euros.
It is clear that this does not matter to López Milan and that for this he has no money, but to pay 1,200,000 euros to the company FCC for which he works, he did worry, and it was the first thing he did when entering this town hall, asking a loan, to pay it off To pay their bosses yes, but not for this?
For the company where you are hired, there are a million and a half euros, but to assess the health risks of children and adults in our town we do not have 12,000 euros?
The PSOE can not hide for all issues in municipal debt, a debt that has always existed and with which others did know how to work and do many things for La Unión.
López Milan has to start assuming his responsibilities as mayor after 5 years, which was presented for that, not once, but twice, knowing perfectly what the state of the accounts was, that he also knew perfectly well since he was inside a town hall in which he goes for 20 years as mayor and councilman ...
