The painter and engraver Antonio Vidal Máiquez, presents his work "Exploitation and Hope" in La Unión.
The Cartagena painter of deep and heartfelt mining roots, invites us to tour the Sierra Minera with a collection of mixed media works with stamping base, which will be exhibited at the City Council of La Unión from next Sunday, December 1 at 12:00 hours
The exhibition "Exploitation and Hope", is dedicated, according to the words of the artist "to the people who bore the lives of the Sierra de La Unión with their lives" and especially "El Corsio" my grandfather.
Antonio Vidal Máiquez, devotes most of the time to the investigation of the various engraving techniques and their combination with mixed techniques, generating a more expressionist and abstract work in the case of his original pictorial and graphic work, and a more realistic style in some of his engraving editions and in book illustrations.
He collaborates in the execution of projects of other engravers and artists of different disciplines.
Make editions of engravings to Entities and Companies and teach courses and workshops of engraving in Museums and Art Galleries.
