Lo Ferro Flamenco: Anabel Rodríguez Rosado Melon de Oro 2019!
What do those words sound like?
Anabel Rodríguez Rosado: It sounds very big, a very big thing, very big.
The truth is that very well, very happy and grateful to the people of Lo Ferro.
Last year I was lucky enough to get the "Molino de Lo Ferro" and they told me it was very difficult to get this, take the ferreña one year and the melon the next year, but hey, there it is.
Lo Ferro Flamenco: How do you get it?
Anabel Rodríguez Rosado: This has many hours of work and effort behind it.
I have contributed many new lyrics this season.
This year and the past I tried not to coincide with the lyrics or in the qualifiers, semifinals or final, as the bases say and trying to make the best possible songs.
Lo Ferro Flamenco: Last year I was pregnant with your child and this year I had her with you on stage as who says ...
Anabel Rodríguez Rosado: Yes, it cost me a little work but the girl gave me strength and this year seeing her down there gives me even more strength.
Lo Ferro Flamenco: When did Anabel start singing?
Anabel Rodríguez Rosado: I did it late.
I sang in my house and I was very embarrassed.
I had always listened to my uncle who worked with me and was singing in every corner and one day I decided to sign up for some guitar lessons and behind the falsetas my mouth went back and I began to sing instead of playing the guitar.
So the teacher told me: "Girl, why don't you start singing instead of playing the guitar?"
And that I did, about fifteen years ago.
Lo Ferro Flamenco: How has the learning process of singing been?
Anabel Rodríguez Rosado: I am a person who likes to learn and take everything to my land, take my letters and create.
I don't like that we are in a final and the five of us make the same lyrics, my things.
Lo Ferro Flamenco: What does flamenco mean in Anabel's life?
Anabel Rodríguez Rosado: Flamenco is everything.
What you are not able to say or demonstrate in everyday life, people say it with flamenco.
It relaxes me, clears me, releases everything you have inside ... it's the best, really.
Lo Ferro Flamenco: Where will we see Anabel Rodríguez Rosado from now on?
Where are you going to turn your career?
Anabel Rodríguez Rosado: From now on I have an album in mind that goes slowly and we also have many performances in Andalusia, Madrid, in a lot of places ... in Ávila we have the final of another contest next week.
Little by little, opening doors.
Lo Ferro Flamenco: Congratulations Anabel and thank you very much!
Anabel Rodríguez Rosado: Thank you.
