The Local Assembly of the United Left has decided to present its candidates to the municipal elections of May 2019. This list will be headed by the persons elected in the primary process, with Sergio Alcina and Juana Celdrán as list leaders.
In addition, the process of preparing the electoral program is being completed, in a round of contacts with different groups that are enriching it with their proposals for the next term and for the realization of other decisive actions for the future of the municipality.
In the next few days the list will be publicly presented, which includes people representing different social areas.
This decision comes after it has been impossible to close the confluence with Podemos.
Both formations maintain a good ideological and personal harmony, which will be shown in the joint campaign to the next general election in La Union.
