The president of the Popular Party of the Region of Murcia, Fernando López Miras, said after presiding over the Board of Directors of the La Unión party that "Sofia Manrubia is the necessary candidate to lead the project in 2019."

"I approach this project with great enthusiasm, strength and desire and many projects to carry out in La Union because its neighbors deserve it and it is a municipality with a great potential that must be exploited," he concluded.
