One of the most complete days of the eleven days of the International Festival of Cante de las Minas begins.
Antonia Contreras and Arcángel come back stomping the imposing stage of the Cathedral of Cante.
The day begins in the morning at 9:30 in the Casa del Piñón with the opening of the course "Letras del Cante Minero" taught by Mr. José Francisco Ortega Castejón, Ms. Antonia Contreras and Mr. Francisco José Paredes Rubio.
The day will not continue until 7:30 p.m. where, in the Casa del Piñón, the documentary "Pencho Cros, Ecos del Hombre Montaña" will be broadcast, directed by the director and professor Onésimo Hernández.
At the end of this screening, the Coral Argentum will make an interpretation as a tribute to Mexico, a country awarded with the Cathedral of Cante award.
Next, the Carburo Minero prize will be given to the Argentum Choir and the Castillete de Oro to the program of Televisión Española Tendido Cero.
At 20:00 we will continue with the Cante on the Street at Plaza Joaquín Costa, Avenida del Flamenco where the new Fan Design Workshop will be held by PMK.
To end the day we moved, like every night, to the Old Public Market where at 23:00 we will enjoy the flamenco gala of the great Antonia Contreras, Lamp Minera 2016, and Arcángel.
