The head of the regional executive, Fernando López Miras, met today at the Palacio de San Esteban with Carlos Bernabé, president of the Federation of Entrepreneur Associations of La Union, in which approximately 120 companies from that municipality are integrated.
During this meeting, and as indicated by the Minister of Employment, Universities, Business and Environment, Javier Celdrán, addressed various aspects "related to the industrial future of the municipality, which requires an impulse to help the business sector have clear lines of future and specialization in some areas ".
In this sense, "they requested the realization of a strategic study that allows defining a model of industrial impulse to an area such as the Circular Economy and everything related to the Green Economy," explained Celdrán
They also addressed the need for modernization of infrastructures, the start-up of the marina or the regeneration of Portman Bay "as an economic, touristic and business engine for the future of La Unión", as well as "the importance of continuing to be vindictive so that the current Government of Spain does not stop the projects and that maintains the level of budget and planning ", remarcó the counselor.
