The Community finances works in La Union for more than 145,000 euros for the integral renovation of several streets, under the Works and Services Plan of 2017, financed by the Autonomous Community.
The general director of Local Administration, Manuel Durán, accompanied by the mayor of La Union, visited this week the works carried out in the municipality that have consisted in the integral renovation of the streets Milans del Bosch and Clavijo, in the neighborhood of El Garbanzal, that suffer intense traffic due to the location in the vicinity of two important schools of the municipality, besides serving as a connection to national and regional roads.
Durán stressed that "this is a very important action for the circulatory development of the area, so both roads have been conditioned in such a way that the road safety conditions, paving status, both of the road and sidewalks, and signage are appropriate to their use. "
Manuel Durán recalled that the Autonomous Community financed in the previous year, with more than 109,000 euros, and also under the Works and Services Plan, the stands of the north area of ​​the municipal sports ground and the paving of the avenue of The Heel.
