The Government of Spain has transferred to La Union with a total of 4.7 million between 2009 and 2010
The Government delegate, Rafael González Tovar, with the mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé, has inaugurated the construction of an indoor sports court Portman, the ethnographic museum and the new sports court in Roche.
The three works have been financed entirely by the Local Investment Fund with an investment of 1,380,000 euros and created 67 jobs.
As for the works of the indoor sports court Portman and services that are necessary for sports (and control access, changing rooms and toilets, storage of sports equipment, nursing, etc), construction of pavilions annexes local government (Office for Local Police, Local Development Agent dependence, and meeting room for mayor of the hamlet), and the adequacy of and access area adjacent to the building.
The cost of the work amounted to 696,000 euros and has created 16 jobs.
Later, they inaugurated the works for the rehabilitation and refurbishment of the building of the old schools of Roche Ethnological Museum.
This project increases the potential for cultural tourism and the environment and has involved the rehabilitation of the building's ground floor all with an investment of the Government of Spain for 150,000 euros and that led to the creation of 8 jobs.
To do this, we proceeded to tile up, has undertaken the replacement of the existing board in bad state for other ocean seen, waterproofing asphalt and replacing ceramic tile similar to the existing interior refurbishment works outside of the building, among others.
Also in Roche, the government delegate in Murcia and the mayor of the Union have visited the site of the sports grounds, in which it has built a sports deck, the services are necessary for the sport (and access control , changing rooms and toilets, storage of sports equipment, ...), as well as nursing has adapted the adjacent environment and access to the building with an investment of 534,600 euros and has created 43 jobs.
González Tovar said today that "it was worth the financial effort that the Government of Spain has to, through this investment, helping create jobs, boost the economy and create the necessary infrastructure of the municipality."

As is known, the Local Investment Fund went to La Union, in 2009, 2,915,173 euros for the implementation of 10 actions that have generated 157 jobs, of which 71 are newly created jobs and 86 integrated people.
These works were selected by the City in accordance with the needs of the municipality, as the arrangements cover City Hall or the sports court in Roche and Portman.
Also being carried out by the "Installation of doors windbreaks in several municipal buildings," the "Rehabilitation of laundry in the mine environment Vicenta Groups", or "adequacy of the building project Asensio Sáez Cultural Center, among others.
González Tovar has also reported that the new State Fund for Employment and Local Sustainability to be invested in 2010, will involve a further economic boost for the city of 1,849,393 euros.
Be carried out 15 construction projects valued at 1.4 billion euros and 4 social spending programs valued at 370,000 euros, providing for the creation of 83 new jobs and benefit more than 6,500 people.
