The Minister of Culture and Tourism, Pedro Alberto Cruz, next to the rector of the University of Murcia, José Antonio Cobacho, and the mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé, presented this morning the First International Conference on Cantes Flamenco Mining, which held in the town of 2 to 4 June.
The conference is one of the main activities to be staggered this year's gold wedding festival and is the first activity of the Foundation of Cante de las Minas "said Cruz.

Additionally, he said that with Congress, with the participation of leading specialists of the genre, "wanted to create a strong context for the festival and it will happen throughout the year."

This first conference on mining songs on the record has been brought to its declaration as a Cultural Heritage character is first of its type.
Through three days, analyze, from a theoretical and practical perspective, the origin, formation and evolution of these songs and their connection with the Festival Internacional del Cante de las Minas.
The conference is part of the training offer provided by the University of Murcia in the summer courses at the Universidad Internacional del Mar. The venue will be the assembly hall of the House Pinion of La Union.
The maximum number of students is 100 and duration is 30 hours.
The use of Congress also will provide three free credits for college students enrolled.
