Returning the Gaze.
Anthology of stories from our elders, book published by the Regional Centre for Adult Education, was presented this morning at the Casa del Pińón.
The event was attended by the Mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé, Councilmember of Institutional Relations, Juana Sanchez, Director of the Center for Adult Education of the District of Cartagena, Juan Martínez Mercader, as well as teachers and students Adult Education.
Looking back covers 66 stories in which students recount their experiences of the Center for Children and Youth.
During the presentation, some students have read several of the stories that make this work.
The Mayor, Francisco Bernabé, has expressed his admiration for the students of the Center because "it is commendable willingness to train and further develop skills that you show."
"You are the living memory of the Union," concluded Barnabas.
Each student received a copy of the work.
Looking back will be available at the Municipal Library in the town.
