The Mayor of La Unión, Bernabe Francisco, has opened the Week of Visual Arts to be developed in the town until the 8th of May in the framework of activities of the Spring Arts III.
The Arts Week was begun with the opening of the exhibition of paintings and sculptures that will host the Old Public Market in the town until next Saturday.
About 30 local painters and sculptors take part in an exhibition over 100 works.
The exhibition will be free from 10:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 20:00.
Moreover, the Week will climax Arts Contest Open Air to be held May 8 at the Plaza Joaquín Costa.
Those interested in participating can register in the Old Public Market in morning and afternoon.
The theme of the works must focus on the 150 anniversary of the municipality.
