The fair has the support of the Ministry under the Plan to Promote Retail Distribution Sector of the Region
A total of 36 exhibitors participating in the XIII Fair of Minerals and Fossils of the Union which opened today by the Minister Salvador Marín next to the town's mayor, Francisco Bernabé.
The exhibition, organized by the Federation of Business and Professional Union, in collaboration with the Ministry of Universities, Business and Research, City Hall and the Chamber of Commerce of Cartagena, will be open until next Saturday, in time from 10:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 21:00 pm in the Old Public Market.
The fair occupies 1,500 square feet dedicated to exhibition and sale of minerals and fossils, and has parts of the Sierra Minera and other parts of the Region, as well as different areas Spain, specifically Madrid Autonomous Community of Valencia , Cataluña, Castilla y León, Asturias and Euskadi, that make this show in the third largest of the panorama display of minerals and fossils from Spain.
Marin said that this exhibition "is a dynamic focus for retailers and hoteliers of the Union and hope that this year a great success and we get to 9,000 hits.
The number of visitors will also help energize the surrounding retail and hospitality while invigorate the historic center of La Union. "
The director congratulated the Mayor and his team of Government and the Federation of Business and Professional Associations of the municipality, for organizing this event which brings together experts and lovers of the fossils come from the region and neighboring provinces.
In addition, he congratulated the miners honored today, Abraham Caballero, "because it represents the work and effort that have been conducted for decades so many miners in the Union."
