The First Conference on The Union Navy had ended with the conclusion of the Oath Act, Promise or renewal of the flag of Spain.
This ceremony was held at the Municipal Sports Centre of the city of La Union.
The event, which was chaired by the Chief of Maritime Action Admiral Emilio Nieto Manso, joined by all his staff, has received the Mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé, the Regional Assembly President Francisco Celdrán; Delegate of the Government in the Region, Rafael González Tovar, and Minister of Presidency, Pedro María Reverte.
In this ceremony, solemnity, has witnessed the parade of troops from the Infantry School Marina General Albacete Fuster "tribute to those who gave their lives for Spain, an interpretation of the anthem of the Navy, lowering the flag and making Oath or Promise, among other activities.
Oath of Allegiance, open to civilians, has registered more than 330 registered voters, the highest participation in such acts in the Region of Murcia.
In addition, more than 2,000 people have followed the event from the grandstands from the Polideportivo Municipal.
The Mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé, expressed his satisfaction "to the undoubted success of this conference naval after century of life in La Union, for the first time were held in our municipality."
Also noted Barnabas "I want to thank the wonderful work done by the Army and the Infantry School."
"It was the best way to kick off events commemorating the 150 anniversary of our City," concluded the Mayor.
The First Conference held at The Union Navy are part of the program of events commemorating the 150 anniversary of the establishment of the municipality of La Union.
