The Mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé, and Social Policy Adviser, Women and Migration, Joaquín Bascuñana, have signed an agreement under which the two institutions will collaborate in providing services and programs for equal opportunities and work centers local employment.
The Training Plan for Gender Equality of the Institute for Women in the Region of Murcia is aimed at training on gender and equal opportunities for staff of public administrations, as well as professionals in any field and students, promote programs training for women to promote their full participation in society, and promotes training activities specifically aimed at preventing and detecting gender-based violence.
The program services and activities on equality of opportunity is aimed at towns in the Murcia Region with a population less than 50,000 inhabitants.
Includes the recruitment of agents for Equality and the development of activities aimed at promoting the implementation of programs and the creation of structures that promote equal opportunities between men and women.
Moreover, the operating program of the local employment center for women is responsible for financing the costs of these offices provide a service dedicated to employment information, career women, encouraging and facilitating their access to labor market improving their employability, social inclusion and, ultimately, equality between men and women.
The Ministry of Social Policy this agreement funded through the Institute of Women of the Region of Murcia.
Thus, the program services and activities to achieve equality of opportunity will amount to 23,096 euros.
On the other hand, the operating program of the Local Employment Center for Women have an investment of 24,750 euros.
