The municipality of La Union will host this year's celebration of the act of the Day of the Region on 9 June, which is organized on the occasion of the XXVII anniversary of the Statute of Autonomy of the Autonomous Community of Murcia, announced today the Minister of Presidency and Public Administration, María Pedro Reverte.
Reverte visited the municipality of La Union to present, with the mayor, Francisco Barnabas semipeatonalización the project for the village of this town and visit the facilities of the new headquarters of the local police.

The winners of the gold medals in this edition are the Cartagena dancer José Carlos Martínez García, José Carrilero caravaqueño sculptor Gil, the matador Pepin Liria ceheginero and the Union of Worker Cooperatives in the Region of Murcia, Ucomur.
The Distinguished Service Diplomas fall this year in the former secretary general of the UGT in the Region of Murcia, Antonio López Baños, José Ángel Zambudio businessman, both posthumously, and the diagram of Psychosocial Intervention Foundation.

New Local police station
Reverte also visited the new facilities of the local police headquarters, located in the building of Progress, a performance that is already underway and will improve the working conditions of the 34 professionals who currently comprise the staff of the Local Police, "featuring wider and the current functionality, "said the minister.
The autonomous region has contributed a total of 182,928 euros for this action, of which 95,678 euros related to the execution of the work was financed entirely by the regional administration, and the remaining $ 87,250 for the purchase of equipment.
