The Mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé, Delegate of the Government in the Region of Murcia, Rafael González Tovar, and the Provincial Director of the National Institute of Social Security, Francisco Sanchez, presented the new Municipal Office of attention and information Social Security in the city of La Union.
The creation of the Municipal Office is part of the collaboration agreement signed between the City of La Union and the Provincial Director of INSS on 6 November at the Government Delegation in the Region of Murcia.
The office has the following functions:
Providing an overview of the Social Security system.
Receive and send to the Center for Information and Social Security of Cartagena, the Documents for the Institute submitted by citizens.
Providing information to stakeholders on the status of their cases and working life managed by the National Institute of Social Security.
The National Institute of Social Security shall provide the Municipal Office technical information necessary to carry out their duties.
The office that will deal with three staff, is located on the first floor Pinion House, Town Hall, and pay attention to the public from 9 to 14 hours.
The Mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé, expressed his "satisfaction with the implementation of an Office of the National Institute of Social Security in our town", after "many years ago the former office was closed, something that never should have happened. Projects already approved by the Government Delegation in Murcia, and ratified by the Ministry of Public Administration, are currently under recruitment.
Works are scheduled to commence on April.
