Reproduce the full text of the manifesto issued by the Institute of Women of the Region of Murcia in reference to the International Day of Working Women:

On 8 March we gathered around principles and values that bind us as women and men to continue the work undertaken by others for more than one hundred years.

History reminds us today that fateful date on which the workers of a textile factory in the United States is locked to protest the unequal treatment received in respect of men, and the abuses and injustices they suffered.

The owners burned the factory.

All died.

This tragic event has appointed a day that we should be well this whole year: on the vindication of our rights, to demand our rightful place, to build for our children and our children a common future freedom.

That will be our source of pride for generations to come.

From that day until now things have changed a lot, but there is still work to do.

It is necessary to stress the need to promote values of respect and equality, from education, advertising and media.

Is essential to stress in other models of relationships in another way of looking, in better representation in public and private.

Nobody should think that it is all done.

Try to join efforts to achieve full equality, without any doubt.

Among all and all is possible.

Experience tells us that diversity is the wealth and equity, virtue.

We have shown that a woman can do everything that is proposed without giving up their own nature, its identity, its essence and its femininity.

That is the real goal of equality: that of what we intend to make without giving anything that characterizes us, what they really are.

Reserve this time to save a moment of silence for those women who have died of maltreatment.

The sheer injustice of the gender inequality has been silenced for ever.

In our hands to overcome these unfortunate events.

Education, respect and tolerance are the best tools to succeed.

Let's make March 8 a day of recognition of the rights of women and international peace.

We have an obligation to remember our progress and the will and commitment to continue working to achieve the goals that the century itself proposed.

Let us not stop for a moment.

This is our time.
