The PSOE Union has learned through the Union Section of the Federation of Public Service UGT in the City of La Union, where the majority union within the Personnel Board, the existence of bullying or harassment by part of the government team to an official of the City Council.
Felix is Ocaña Castellanos, whose relationship with the council dates back to 1980 where he has carried out its work as janitor of the City Council since 1990, where according to the ratio Jobs municipal work is the custodian of the Town Hall .
Socialist spokesman Mariano Oliver, said the last day 01.09.2009, the said employee received notification of local authorities to place him in doing their work in other municipal departments other than the Town Hall, in particular in the Old Town Hall building, now earmarked for other activities such as the Civil Registry and Adult Education.
Oliver noted that in order to operate, Felix Ocana was given only an old table, having to seek help from other co-workers to lend him at least one chair in which to sit, or the installation of a plug.
"You do not have office supplies or even a phone with which to communicate with the municipal" he lamented.
In recent months, the officer has suffered a number of actions by the government team as the opening of disciplinary proceedings in which a decision is not, and the refusal to attend the calls that were received in the switchboard City Council, a role that was entrusted to a person hired temporarily for the session last few dates.
It happens also that Felix Ocana is a known socialist activist in the town and, during the previous period of government
CP in La Union, years 1995-1999, was also displaced from their jobs in the municipal seat.
Section Association of the Federation of Public Service in the consistory unionense UGT has submitted a letter dated 16.1.2009 on the register of the City, showcasing its total repudiation of the constant persecution that takes place in this City against certain people because of their political leanings, stating that "there are conditions peculiar to the Inquisition."
The brief of the FSP UGT adds that municipal officials will provide the "full support of the legal services of UGT, for what we consider a direct persecution to him by certain politicians, who will have to answer to the judicial authorities in subject. "
The PSOE of The Union demands that the government team at Felix Ocana restored to their previous job, respecting the tasks entrusted to it under the List of Municipal Jobs.
"We have an intolerable situation, unbecoming a democratic government, which makes clear the moral standing of municipal officials."
Therefore require the resignation of Council Member of Staff, Juana Sanchez, "working from prosecution which is under the official, whose motivation is given by the same political affiliation."
