ANSE and the city of La Union signed an agreement for the recovery of flora iberoafricana (04/11/2008)

The agreement consolidates the actions ANSE been done in the municipality of La Union, such as reforestation in the Sierra Minera Institute environment or participation in the environmental recovery of the area known as The chorrico.

In the municipality of La Union coincide spatially significant areas of environmental interests in species presence iberoafricanas (common with northern Africa) and endemic (unique to the area) with intense human activities such as mining, which significantly altered the configuration ecosystems.

On the other hand, vegetation and flora shared with northern Africa can be a valuable element of integration for immigrants from the Maghreb.

For the foregoing reasons, ASEAN and the city of La Union seeks to consolidate the recovery actions and conservation of flora and vegetation in the municipality.

The targets in the collaboration agreement, with an annual sum of 3,000?, Are:

- Establish links through nature between northern Africa and the Iberian Peninsula.
