About 210 participants have gathered in the central main street of town to play the classic race Mayor of La Union.
The test began at 18:30 h and was extended for two hours.
All enrollees were taking part of the test in various categories ranging from Benjamin to veterans.
The competition took place in an excellent atmosphere of sportsmanship and harmony among some athletes coming from all parts of the Region of Murcia and surrounding provinces.
The crowd gathered along the way has been accompanied by applause and cheering the efforts of some athletes who wait year after year this event with athletics in the mining town.
Has claimed victory in the senior José Antonio Pérez Sansano Crevillente Marathon, while the absolute winner in women has been Maite Vera.
For his part, David Fernandez has won first place at local level.
At the awards ceremony was attended by the Mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé, who has handed over to José Antonio Pérez's first senior trophy in addition to the Councillor for Sports, Julio Garcia, Planning, Carlos Martinez, as well as those responsible for Youth Staff and Celebrations, Antonio Liarte, Juana María Sánchez and Hermogenes, respectively.
