The Parade of Chariots of the festivity of 2008 exceeded all its expectations, due to the high turnout and the 5,000 people who filled the central main street, a picture never seen before in the town.
Up to 23 floats, some of them coming from different parts of the district, filled with creativity, magic and light the center of the mining town.
One night he did not lack entertainment, gifts and music during the tour, delighting young and old.
The first prize went to the Chariot of the rock The Kirikis, who paid tribute to the famous painter and writer unionense, Asensio Sáez, through a palette of colors.
The second prize was to target the children of Special Education College Living Henry, while the third prize went to the rock the pinion with its hippie-inspired Chariot.
The night of the Festival del Pilar was closed with a stunning and impressive castle fireworks.
