The Union held the Feast of Our Lady the Virgen del Rosario, patron saint of the city and Mayor Perpetua, with the solemn procession held in his honor on the evening of Tuesday 7 October to monitor many residents gathered round route.
Chaired the curate of the Parish of Our Lady of Rosario, Luis Miguel and after him, followed the route of La Union Mayor Francisco Bernabé, with the rest of the Municipal Corporation, a representation of the Guardia Civil and Municipal Police and all the fraternities.
The procession started from the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary and followed the usual route, crossing the main streets of the village center.
The passage of the Lady was followed by constant "Vivas to the Virgin" which denote the fervor that process unionenses its patron.
The procession included the novelty of being the first time you slide on the shoulders the throne of the patron saint of La Union.
Also noteworthy was the support of the award winning musical group City of La Union.
Finally, it should be noted that after a period of absence, the parade again popularly known as "handjob."
About 100 women and girls dressed in shawl and tile.
Passionate Parade ended with an emotional way Save the Virgin, as well as to the interpretation of the National Anthem.
