The Foundation Cante de las Minas has ratified the cooperation agreement with the Catholic University San Antonio, which runs until 2018 and funded by both institutions for cultural activities linked to the International Festival and flamenco in general;
including the Chair of Flamenco, Flamenco School, conferences, seminars and meetings of Haute Cuisine by levante.
They have agreed to the CEO of the Foundation and mayor of La Union, Pedro Lopez Milan, and the president of the UCAM, José Luis Mendoza, in a meeting held yesterday in Murcia who also served as the first contact after the inauguration of alderman.
President of the Foundation, Pedro Lopez Milan, said at the end of the meeting the will of this organization to keep the agreement, even extend as far as possible, "in fact we have reached the agreement to hold one of the selective tests the next edition of the Festival del Cante de las Minas in the campus of the UCAM Cartagena, collaboration will be high and narrow ".
School of Flamenco Art International Flamencology of the Catholic University San Antonio of Murcia (UCAM) and the Foundation Cante de las Minas is a training institution of musical character, with regular courses and curricula aimed at promoting the initiation in the study and learning of singing, dancing, flamenco guitar and percussion, with a special emphasis on the field of mining songs and Levante.
