Yesterday was held at Headquarters Auditorium and Congress Centre of Murcia Order of the Board Foundation Cante de las Minas de La Union for the first quarter of 2015.
Among the items on the agenda was the preparation of the annual accounts 2014, report of the financial report and the report of external and independent audit of the same, which has been positive but have no requirement.
The accounts of the Foundation Cante de las Minas have a positive balance of 67,000 euros as a result of austerity policies and savings plan made since 2013, when revenues started to also decrease.
The execution of the budget for 2015 compared to 2014 is maintained also approved.
Another important agreement was the approval of both the Implementation of the Action Plan of 2014 as activities for 2015 that includes all activities of the Foundation, such as: the International Festival of Cante de las Minas;
School of Flamenco Art in the 4th and 5th Promotion;
the partnership with Mediterranean Home Brand Spain to make the flamenco Union brand and world leader;
the V International Congress of University Research Flamenco;
the IV International Congress University Flamenco Dance;
the Second Meeting of Haute Cuisine by levante, in collaboration with the Restaurant Vinagrero;
management, enhancement and dissemination of the Museo del Cante de las Minas;
the internationalization of the brand "Festival del Cante de las Minas de La Union" by the Las Minas Flamenco project already submitted Tour in India, Japan and Brussels;
and another major activities that make the Flamingo on the subject of research, teaching and study of university status through an agreement signed with the Catholic University San Antonio of Murcia (UCAM) "The Chair of Flamenco".
All this activity has meant that more than forty thousand people during 2014 have had a relationship with flamenco from a professional or amateur perspective what makes the Foundation Cante de las Minas fully comply with its statutory mandate of promotion and dissemination of Flamenco.
Total flamenco done since the Union has meant arriving in investments in 2014 exceeded one million euros making this product as the main cultural industry of the municipality and with the greatest potential for the outside world, as can be seen in the fact that in the more than 400 entries received for 2015 a test of foreign artists interested in the Festival have been increased by three hundred percent.
Finally they were also approved the technical requisites and Administration Conditions governing the Administrative Procedure Hiring of technical means to carry out the LV International Festival of Cante de las Minas, for publication and open competition to BORM any company interested in participating.
