Las Minas Flamenco Tour acts again in Tokyo (17/03/2015)

The International Festival of Cante de las Minas de La Union, the world's leading Flamenco festival, continues its international dissemination with doing a show at the Metropolitan Theatre in Tokyo, through "Las Minas Flamenco Tour" showing flamenco and the essence of Cante de las Minas.

The artists performing are: Ricardo Fernández del Moral (Singer), José Tomás Giménez (Guitar), Amador Rojas (Dancer), Yolanda Osuna (dancer), and Oscar Manuel (Flute Flamenca).

The show begins with a mining with flamenco dancing, followed by tarantas with singing and guitar, joys and soleas with melodic closing bulería.

The national tour of Las Minas Flamenco Tour (LMFT) is the fruit of a long effort that has led so far LMFT Belgium, Luxembourg, India and Japan on several occasions and has already established international destinations in 2015 such as USA, Mexico, South America and China, besides the Tour Las Minas Puerto Flamenco by the Ports of Spain.

The performance was conducted under the Competition Festival Maruwa Foundation, which has been selected as Japanese dancer Yoko Tamura Trophy winner Desplante Japan Maruwa, which directly pass to the semifinals stage of the Festival del Cante de las Minas to be held La Union in August 2015.

The winner of the trophy has been selected from a total of fourteen finalists, after a previous screening to more than eighty candidates were presented.

The Spanish Jury who has represented the Fundación del Cante de las Minas has been formed by Aurelio Solana, managing partner of Las Minas Flamenco Tour, Antonio Gil, Director of the Cervantes Institute in Tokyo and recognized expert in Flamenco, and Professor Antonio Alonso , Bailaor recognized in Japan as a supporter of the deployment of Flamenco in Japan.

This selection adds to the held last August 2014 Competition Festival de Las Minas ANIF, which is the National Association of Flamenco in Japan, where two other Dancers were selected and Cantaora also come in August 2015 to act the semifinals phases in La Union.
