The Secondary School "Maria Salcedo Cegarra" was made today the opening of its II Open Day, which will be held today and tomorrow at the Old Public Market of the Union.
The event was attended by our Mayor, Julio Garcia, General Director of Educational Quality, Innovation and Attention to Diversity in the Region of Murcia, Begoña Iniesta, the Rector of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) José Antonio Franco, plus several Councillors Municipal Government Team, who have been received by the center's director, José Luis Pérez and the educational community.
The aim of this conference is to present new ideas, projects, strategies and experiences designed to give a good image of this school and attractive offering the same training.
The program of activities is varied so that the various teaching departments and educational programs demonstrate, through simple activities, the possibilities that new technologies offer for innovation in the field of education.
Our Mayor has expressly congratulated the educational community Cegarra and has also contacted the Dutch exchange students in English, to encourage them to enjoy and learn about our town these days.
