Regeneration of Portman Bay continues below (03/11/2014)

The Ministry of Environment has hosted this morning that hosted the meetings held by representatives of the central, regional and local administrations to discuss the status of the proposed regeneration of Portman Bay

The meeting was attended by the Ministry of Environment, the Director General and Deputy Director of Things, Pablo Saavedra and Angel Muñoz, the Director General of Mines Murcia and Head of Service, Alfonso García and Rafael Sanchez and the Mayor of La Union and Deputy Mayor of the Presidency, Francisco Bernabé and Carlos Martinez.

The main agreement is reached at the meeting, after analyzing the situation arises around Aria Company, and the probable return of desert competition that will occur on the 5th it impossible to present any project it has been the irrevocable determination to go ahead with the regeneration of the Bay.

To this end it has been stipulated that the three government agencies:

They will continue working together and coordinated toward this goal.

It gives the regeneration of an absolute priority to start as soon as possible

3rd.

In order to financially guarantee the completion of the work is going to work hard on obtaining resources via public funding and the possibility of developing iron ores buried among infertile.

In this regard, Francisco Bernabé has responded to questions from journalists who attended the press conference held this afternoon at the City of La Union that the intention is to run the regeneration project approved by the Ministry of Environment in the year 2011 and provides a partial regeneration of the Bay, all states and the impossibility that the total regeneration advocated by Aria will be feasible.
