The Local Government Board has approved the statement of requirements for the award of service contracts by Management Day Care Center of La Union for elderly dependents.
The Day Care Center of La Union is located next to the home of the Third Age.
After studying the possibilities of the service we proceeded to start the recruitment process for the implementation of day-care service for older people in that property.
The Center has 40 beds, which may be entered into with the Instituto Murciano Social Action (IMAS) through the regulations governing the Law Unit.
The annual cost per user is the amount of 8,400 euros, fully funded by the Regional Government and the user.
The service to be provided to users care involves basic care, prevention and counseling of personal autonomy, rehabilitation, counseling, occupational therapy programs and maintaining mental and physical abilities of users.
Similarly the contractor may perform other activities aimed at improving the quality of life of elderly and dependent.
The intention is that the Center will open its doors Monday through Friday, morning and afternoon, and dining serving users who demand it.
The seats not conveniadas may be used by users who directly paid the cost of the service.
