Increased specialization for officers of the Local Police of The Union (23/10/2014)

Two officers from the local police in La Union have taken a course at the School of Traffic Civil Guard in the city of Mérida, called "drug expert".

The training course has had lasts 30 hours and enables controls for detection of drugs in drivers of motor vehicles and mopeds as established the Code of Criminal Procedure, Article 796.7, which states that tests will be conducted by Judicial Police Traffic, which are included to local police in the inner city, with specific training, this being the degree that comes with this course.

Its content includes, among other things, the legal framework regarding drugs, tests for detection, types of drugs, effects and symptoms, chain of custody of the shots, the minutes of signs to assess the influence of drugs, including other.

The subjects are taught by a Captain and Lieutenant of the School Traffic Guardia Civil a Coroner and Attorney Vial.Se Security is the first edition of this course offered by the School of Traffic to people from outside the Civil Guard .

Along with the two Agents The Local Police Union, Juan Luis Cervantes and Pedro Martinez Segado Gomez have made three agents and two of Murcia Molina de Segura.
