Tomorrow begins the 54 international festival of song of mine with the "Day of The Union" (05/08/2014)

Tomorrow is a big day for unionense municipality.

With the "Day of the Union", International Festival del Cante de las Minas revving before the official start of its 54th year, on a day full of events for lovers unionenses and flamenco.

Like every year, the Festival opens with new dreams, hopes and responsibilities to keep this issue at the top 54 international flamenco scene.

For this we have prepared a wide cultural agenda, with more than 200 activities, which will make La Union until 16 August at the headquarters in the purest flamenco jondo Sentío.

In the prologue day tomorrow Wednesday, August 6, among many other events and Flemish quotes, will be opened at 11:00 h, the "windows Flamingos", where various trade exhibit trophies and awards given during the Festival.

At the same time the public will open the photo exhibition "Jewels of Flamenco", by official photographer of the event, Antonio Merono, JAYAM of.

Already at 11:30 h, the photo exhibition "Pinch Flamenco", the photographer Jesús Morcillo, and violin sample "Timber to listen," Vera Juan Antonio Romero will be presented.

Pinion House will host both exhibitions, and visiting hours both the Mining Museum and the Museo del Cante de las Minas, which will open during the Festival from 9:00 to 14:00 and 18:00 to be expanded 21:00 pm, except on Sundays, which only open in the afternoon.

At 12 noon, in the hall of the House of the pinion, among other initiatives, is being launched "Ballet Flamenco Cante de las Minas."

This is a project forged within the Flamencology, launched by the Foundation Cante de las Minas and San Antonio de Murcia, Universidad Católica UCAM.

The address of the company is shared by teachers and Beatriz Arce Cloti Corvi, and features dancers and choreographers of the National Ballet of Spain, in addition to the selected students from the School of Art Flamenco La Union.

His first show is called "Soul Mining" where the mining history of La Union is narrated from the arrival of miners looking for work, the hard days spent in the galleries, and the joy of leaving them to enjoy the singing and dancing in the old cafes singers.

It will be released at the gala next Saturday, August 9, with Niño Josele.

As is tradition, and in the evening, this event will host the prologue Minera Mass celebrated in the Parish of Our Lady of the Rosary at 20:00 h with the intervention of Encarnación Fernández singing, accompanied on guitar by Antonio Muñoz.

Later, on the porch and lighting exhibition will be held with the opening of the Avenida del Flamenco, where the exhibition "Stars of Flamenco Festival" snapshots José Silvente on Festival performances, and "The Beauty will open Flamenco ", photos of John Tébar selection of moments of the Festival del Cante de las Minas 2013.

At 21:30 h the discovery of the "Lamp Encarnación Fernández" on Avenida del Flamenco, a tribute well deserved winner of the double top prize will be performed.

Already at 11:00 h PÓLOGO DAY will begin with the "Tribute to Mining and Mining Widow", where the Mayor of La Union and Executive Chairman of the Foundation Cante de las Minas, Francisco Bernabé, and the Deputy Mayor of Culture and Director of the International Festival del Cante de las Minas, Julio Garcia, presented their love, affection and respect for the mining Galian Salvador Perez, and the widow of the miner, Carmen Roca Olmos.

The Prologue Day will also feature a performance by the musical group "Union City", which the members of "Coral Argentum" will be added in interpreting the solemn hymn of La Union.

After the Rondalla and Choir intervene Home for the Elderly in La Union, playing the star turn of this evening melody, the anthem own Festival del Cante de las Minas.

The performance of students in the School of Art Flamenco Cante de las Minas is the following night, with "Siguiriya" and "Garrotin".

One evening Trovera put the finishing touch to the "Day of The Union" by the Association Trovera José María Marín, who collected the most prestigious singers in the region.

All in an open house, where the Foundation has made great efforts to offer it for free to the public, facilitating their access to what for centuries has become our song, culture and trademark.
