In order to promote the learning of foreign languages, IES "Sierra Minera" The Union is developing the Bilingual program: English-Spanish mode in five class periods of English art and three non-language subjects are taught in this same language, courses in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th of ESO addition of a second foreign language: French.
In high school, two non-language subjects are taught in English.
Among the activities carried out in this program is conducting a school exchange with Christoph Probst Gilching Gymnasium (Germany).
From 29 April to 7 May 2014 nineteen students / as accompanied by two German professors are visiting La Union, sharing activities and living with the teachers, students and families of our center, having been received this morning at City Hall by our Mayor, Francisco Bernabé.
The students visit the center unionense Gilching (Germany) is scheduled for the month of December 2014.
