The three administrations embodying the roadmap for the regeneration of Portman (08/01/2014)

The headquarters of the Ministry of Environment has been the place that has welcomed this morning the meetings held by representatives of central, regional and local administrations in order to define and coordinate the various unfinished paperwork before they can undertake the start of the work of regeneration Portman Bay.

The meeting has been attended by the Director of Sustainability of the Coast and the Ocean, Pablo Saavedra, and its Director General, Angel Munoz, from the central government, the Minister of Business and Research in the Region of Murcia, José Ballesta, and the Director General of Mines, Pedro Jiménez, by the regional government, and our mayor, Francisco Bernabé, and deputy mayor, Carlos Martinez, on behalf of the municipality of La Union.

The meeting, which has been rated very positively by Barnabas, has served to clearly delineate the different steps that remain to be tackled before proceeding, first as a prerequisite to declare if the existence of a resource mining in the Bay, and currently open procedure is expected to be completed during the month of March.
