The Department of Social Policy of the City of La Union, led Rosa Pagan, has launched a year its traditional Solidarity Campaign for No Perishable Food Collection for the forthcoming Christmas.
Anyone interested in collaborating can deliver food donations until Friday, December 20, in the House of the pinion and headquarters of Social Services, located at Matadero Street (next to the Blacksmith School and Health Centre), in schedule from 9:00 to 14:00 hours, Monday to Friday.
The food collected will be distributed to needy families in the municipality.
Our Mayor, Francisco Bernabé, appeals to all unionenses to participate actively in this campaign and show the spirit of solidarity that has always characterized the residents of our town in this good cause.
