During the coming months the City of La Union will launch a major package of fiscal and economic measures of direct support to business, trade and hospitality in the town.
This has been agreed in the working meeting held during Murcia the Director General of the Institute of Development (INFO), Juan Hernandez, and our Mayor and Deputy Mayor for Economic Development, Francisco Bernabé and Antonio Liarte, respectively.
In particular, it is planned to sign an agreement with the Autonomous Region for consideration of the Union as a township entrepreneur, which will bring significant advantages of various kinds for our employers and freelancers.
It has also been referred to the adoption of a local ordinance for granting economic aid directly to entrepreneurs in La Union, Portman and Roche, which will come into force in early 2014.
And, likewise, it will launch a business incubator for new initiatives that arise in this area, and that will have a municipal premises to facilitate the commencement of its activities.
The INFO and the city have created a joint committee working between two institutions in order to coordinate and accelerate the most of the implementation of these measures.
