The Director of Public Works and Planning, Antonio Sevilla, held a meeting with our Mayor, Francisco Bernabé, in order to discuss various aspects of the future marina to be built in Portman Bay once you take regeneration works out.
During the meeting the two leaders agreed on the need to propose a new design for the port, given that the removal of all residues in the Bay will lead to a new set up, and therefore This infrastructure must be adapted to the physical situation that ultimately will result.
The design envisaged hitherto existing port location nestled among the remaining sterile sealed and deposited in the bay, while to disappear they now becomes necessary to rethink their definitive characteristics.
The Chief and the Mayor have decided to submit to the consideration of technical experts in the field this new scenario in order to draw up the proposals that best meet technical, economic and scenically to the environment, with emphasis on integration with environmental values ​​and culture of that place.
