Therefore , the Socialist Party in La Union included in the electoral program which ran in the last municipal elections recovery total program of free textbooks in compulsory education, and now propose, and which seeks the development of a municipal program to ensure the free provision of non-expendable textbooks for all students / as they pursue their studies compulsory in our town and meet the requirements be established for that purpose. "
The reintroduction of the program of free textbooks for compulsory education in the municipality of La Union will develop gradually over a period of four years as follows:
FIRST PHASE: 2013-2014 Course.
THE City Council fund the purchase of books for the Second Cycle of Primary Education (3rd and 4th course of EP).
SECOND PHASE: 2014-2015 Course.
This course will add funding for the books of the Third Cycle of Primary Education (5th and 6th course of EP).
THIRD PHASE: 2015-2016 Course.
This course will begin funding the books of 1 and ESO cycle PCPI First Course
FOURTH PHASE: 2016-2017 Course.
Funding will be finalized in the 2nd Cycle ESO
The first cycle of primary education (first and second primary education) is not funded, as almost every book is consumable flashcards consisting of a single use and reusable.
After the period of implementation of the program will start the development and continuation of the same, renewing successively in four-year cycles, following the same process as the previous cycles.
For the development and implementation of the program the City will sign a cooperation agreement with the AMPAS and schools.
The AMPAS acquire a complete set of books for each student non-expendable / a.
These books will be used by students / ace for four courses followed, so that the books will go to a student / aa other courses as they move, delivering and receiving used books to start the course, which in turn will have used , if any, other alumni / ae who have completed the corresponding course.
