The town of Roche has held for the past four days their Festivities in honor of Our Lady of Sorrows, in which they have participated very actively unionense residents of this hamlet.
On Thursday, the festivities began with the opening of the parish priest, Luis Miguel Garcia Máiquez, and the Gala Election and Coronation of the Queens Children and Youth, distinctions were awarded this year to Natalia Lopez Arenas, Arenas Nerea Sanchez and Raquel Carrillo Muñoz as Queens Children, Youth and Ladies, Vivacious Miriam Bermejo Cervantes and Tamara Arias, and as Queen Miriam Hernandez Moreno Youth.
On Friday and Saturday were many and various activities carried out, highlighting the Evening and Monologues Orchestras, and the Giant Sandwich Costume Parade.
The Sunday morning Concentration Motorcycles and Classic Cars was the Paella Contest preamble, in which the winners were: First prize went to Damián Bermejo, and second and third place went to Arenas and Remi Josefa Hernandez, respectively .
The Mass in honor of the patron saint, followed Tribute to Honor Neighbors Roche, which this year went to the marriages formed and embodies Celdran Yepes Salvador, José Chicano and Isabel Cervantes, Teodoro Arias and Florentina Round, and finally, Sebastiana Tomas Garcia and Gonzalez were the prelude to the big fireworks display ended with the Celebrations.
