The event, which was chaired by our Mayor, Francisco Bernabé, and the Councillor for Sports, Laura Vincent, was attended by members of the Municipal Corporation and about 2 hundred people packed the site with the intention of determining the winners of I Sports Awards of the Union.
As said Barnabas, the feeling was somewhat bittersweet because the winners were deserved winners, but the other nominees in each of the categories have been equally deserving more than worthy of the awards given the high level of our clubs and sports athletes, who constantly wins harvested at regional, national and even international.
The winners in each of the categories were: Revelation Sportsman category went to Silvia Arenas and Almudena Martinez in Entity Revelation was the Skating Club of Union, Best Educational Center was awarded the Public School Alfonso X El Sabio The Best Supplies Sponsor was Mayor, the category of Best Defender of the Play Fair campaign went to the Club Vedruna, Special Mention for Sports Career Ros went to Juan Romero, the award for Regional Projection Event with Mayor to Regatta Cartagena IV Portman Carbide Silver, Best Sports Event was the Mountain Race Roller Club Masters, the mention of the Work to Benefit the Sport for Francisco Vera Roca, the APRA Best Female Athlete was Maria de los Angeles Martín Díaz, the award for Best Athletes Male Avelino was awarded Molina Alonso and finally the Best Club Sports Club was Vedruna.

The jury was composed of the Mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé, the Councillor for Sports, Laura Vincent, Councillor for Education and Culture, Julio García, Councillor for Economy and Finance, Ginés Raja, Sports Coordinator, Marta Pocero, as a representative of the press, Antonio Meroño, and coach of this council, serving as secretary, Manuel Navarro.
