The Full Council of the Union has agreed to make recruitment by open and considering the most advantageous offer full service management of street lighting in the municipality.
The contract period is 12 years and the total amount thereof for such period will amount to 5,246,373.36 euros, plus VAT.
The company awarded the contract resulting should proceed at their own expense to the renovation of all public lighting of the town, as well as maintenance for the duration of the contract, for which you need to install new energy efficient systems that reduce fuel consumption and CO2 (contamination) to the atmosphere around 50% of what occurs in the present moment.
At present, fuel consumption and maintenance of all street lighting and municipal facilities (administrative offices, sports, educational, cultural, etc..) Are close to a million euros annually, so the savings expected to be achieved both environmental and economic level (an estimated reduction in the cost of sales of 15%) will be very beneficial to the interests of the municipality.
After the publication of this contract in the official gazettes, the companies concerned have a period of 52 days to submit offers as they deem appropriate.
