The Commission for Regional Strategic Project Portman Bay held in Murcia a new workshop in order to continue to coordinate the various projects underway in relation to this matter.
The meeting was attended by the Autonomous Community the Director General for Economic and Strategic Projects, Luis Martínez de Salas, the Director General of Tourism, Enrique Ujaldón, the Director General of Planning and Housing, Yolanda Muñoz, the Director General of Mines, Pedro Jimenez, and the deputy of the General Directorates of Ports and Environment.
Representing the State Administration has turned the head of the Coastal, Andres Martinez, and the City of La Union was represented by our Mayor, Francisco Bernabé.
The Regional Government has reported that since it is proceeding with the drafting of basic new marina and fishing Portman, last step (once overcome and procedures of environmental assessment and economic feasibility report) to proceed with its timely notice by administrative concession.
It is expected that this project is finished next summer.
It has also realized the order of publication in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia protocol that will allow to determine the areas to be developed, without any risks arising from the action of mining, sustainable tourism project and high quality which is working by the municipality unionense.
The Commission has been planted for a new meeting in which to continue the coordinated development of all these actions.
