Absolute record: 56,000 covers sold in the mining route (22/04/2013)

The challenge has been exceeded.

The 37 bars and restaurants of La Union who participated in the V edition of the Mining Top Road have concluded the same having sold over 56,000 drinks during the 17 days that lasted the event.

Our Mayor, Francisco Bernabé, congratulates City Council on behalf of both the hoteliers, the high level gourmet culinary creations, as the thousands of unionenses and foreigners who have been active on the route and they have filled with color and good environment of our city streets during these dates.

The Mining Top Road is a joint initiative of the City and the Association of Tourist Sector, chaired by Juan Carlos Perez, and is already preparing a new form of tapas for a conference that is intended to celebrate after the summer.

This coming Friday the 26th, at 18.30, will be held in the Auditorium of the Cultural Center Asensio Sáez public draw prizes Route for those participants who have given their Motel with at least 15 sealed boxes.

The prizes are: Weekend for 2 persons Hotel in Costa de Almería, Weekend for 2 people at Hotel Entremares in La Manga del Mar Menor, Food for 2 people to Restaurante El vinegar maker, double for 5 Inputs Festival Internacional del Cante de las Minas, five double tickets to the Mining Park.

Participating establishments are: Bar The medulla, Bar Guerrero, Café Mayor, Coffee Bar Bogey Vedalo Cafe Bar, Cafe Solano, Lloret Bodega, Coffee Bar Zambra, The vinegar maker, New California, Minera Tapería Edward, Recreation and Cultural Society, Bar Plaza, Bar Mining Pa'Comerte Pizzeria, Pizzeria Torino, Coffee Bar Kenny, The Ventorrillo, Sell The Downloader, Bar El Naranjito, Bar Christ of Miners, The Forge Tapas, Bar Museum, Sale El Pariente, Café D'Raspy, The Tavern, Café 33, The Orchard, Bakery Confectionery Mayor, Bakeries The Mill I and II, Blenda and Galena Confectionery, Confectionery Garbanzal I and II, Miquel Xixohelat Gelato, Café Lounge-Coffee-Cups Warehouse and Oasis.
