With glass recycling reduces energy consumption, saves raw material and landfills and reduce air pollution
The City of La Union and Ecovidrio, non-profit association responsible for managing the recycling of glass packaging waste put into the containers in Spain, report the results of the collection of glass containers during the 2012 campaign , having achieved a record result of 225,200 kg, being 45% greater than those obtained in the 2011 campaign were of 155,550 kg
