It has been launched in the town of La Union Community Programme Argos, with its "Campaign Alcohol: Awareness with Science", an initiative of the Ministry of Health and Social Policy and is developed in a coordinated manner by the education sector, health and social, that is, by schools, the Center for Health and Social Services Centre Union Township.
Argos Program is a program that displays universal socio-sanitary measures and educational models based on Health Promotion and Socio-cognitive prevention of alcohol.
And its "Campaign Alcohol: Awareness with Science" is an educational program to prevent problems related to alcohol and other drugs, targeting adolescents of 1 ESO.
This campaign is the development of three lesson plans with students, two of them made in their schools and the other in the health center, based on a traveling exhibition of posters explained by medical personnel.
With this program the student will have realistic information about the effects and consequences from the consumption of alcoholic beverages.
And will reflect on the different points of view in relation to alcohol and the differences between what is expected from drinking and what actually happens.
This will allow each student to form an independent opinion and individual, on the consequences of drinking alcohol, based on reflection and objective information.
All students participating municipality in developing the Campaign may fill in a questionnaire at the beginning of it anywhere www.e-drogas.es, allowing them to participate in a drawing for a grand prize among the participants in each center education.
