Our countrywoman Maria Antonia Hernandez Cegarra gave us Saturday evening with a beautiful proclamation which officially launched in La Union to the religious celebrations of Easter Minera.
In a church full of parishioners Rosario, led by the mayor, Francisco Bernabé, accompanied by the council of the Team, and the Brother of the Brotherhood of the Holy Christ of Miners, Sunday Alajarín, along with officers and the presidents of the seven groups and their respective boards of directors, none of whom want to miss his words, our herald Mari Antonia Hernandez made a description masterfully which combined poetry and prose, moving to the experiences and memories of her childhood on our processions and affecting the transcendent meaning of these dates and the identification of Christ with our mining town.
As a note to review, it should be noted that Mari Antonia, Herrerías public headmistress, is the first woman who stars in a proclamation of our Passion Week, stay and recorded milestone in the history of our processions.
