The Roche Neighborhood Association held a meeting this morning in our City Council to discuss the future location of the Logistics Activity Zone (LAZ) port of Cartagena.
The meeting was chaired by the Mayor, Francisco Bernabé, and has also attended by the Deputy Mayor for Planning, Salvador Martinez, and the village headman of Roche, Ginés Rubio, who have heard the neighborhood concerns regarding the impact the proximity of the LAZ may have on our parish.
In this sense, Barnabas neighbors have expressed strong commitment of the government team to find all possible alternatives regarding the final location that has the ZAL and agree with them the most satisfactory solution to the interests of all parties involved .
As a curiosity, include the presence of fifteen protesters Alumbres however belong to the end of Cartagena Union today have chosen to express their opposition to a cacerolada ZAL to be located in the vicinity of the hamlet Cartagena.
